My Life Turning Point..............

I am going to tell you about the person who changed my life. 

My Dance life (My Guru)

His name is Mahesh Indika. He is one of the most famous dance teachers in Sri Lanka. He is Graduate of my own university. His first degree is complete in UVPA and His Master Degree done in University of Kaleniya.He is Complete his Bhathkande Kathak Nritya Vishard Exam in first class and now he is studying his Kathak Nipun Exam.

I met him when I went to Mahesh Kathak Academy to learn Kathak dance in 2022. That was because he was our Kathak Dance Teacher.

He was the first person who introduced me to a Reality Stage (Hiru Super Dancer/Hiru Mega Star/Hiru StepUp). And it is because of his guidance and dedication that I won the All Island School Dance Competition National Championship in the 2024 Solo Men's Kathak category.

He is the owner of Mahesh Kathak Academy and Mahesh Indika Costume & Bridal Shop. He is a famous for being the Runner-up of Hiru Mega Star Season 04 and Choreographer of Hiru Super Dancer Season 02 & 04. He is also currently working as the Costume Designer of Hiru TV.

He can be called the first teacher to gather the largest number of students studying Kathak dance in Sri Lanka and perform a Classical Kathak Dance Show name of "HAWA". The specialty of it is that all those students are his disciples.

I have gained many experiences in my life because of my teacher. I met him in the year 2022 and I have gained many experiences by working with him for these four years. Those experiences are things that no one can steal.

He is teach all the things of Kathak dance for his students. That is why a large number of students come to him. I am also humbled to be one of his talented students.
