Green Color Strong Taste

Matcha is a finely ground powder of green tea specially processed from shade-grown tea leaves. Shade growing gives matcha its characteristic bright green color and strong umami flavor. Matcha is typically consumed suspended in hot water.



Matcha is a nutrient-rich powerhouse due to consuming the whole leaf, 

Traditional preparation involves a specific set of tools and methods to achieve a smooth, frothy consistency.

Commonly Use:

  • Matcha Latte: Whisked with hot water and mixed with frothed milk.(My Fav)
  • Traditional Tea: Whisked simply with hot water (about 1 tsp to 150ml water)
Matcha Flavor has very strong taste. This tea is a Japan tradition.
Making matcha requires the use of special equipment
A matcha essentials kit typically includes all necessary tools for preparing traditional, frothy green tea, often featuring a bamboo whisk (chasen), bamboo spoon (chashaku), matcha bowl (chawan), and a whisk holder
Matcha is Expensive thing in Sri Lanka. 



Matcha uses :
  • Ice Cream
  • Bubble Tea
  • Cake
  • Tiramisu
  • Kit Kat have matcha - flavored versions in Japan
  • Chocolate 
 

My Fav is Matcha sundae, Bubble Tea & Chocolate.
Matcha is healthy for human body.
However, some people do not like this flavor very much. Because of its strong and bitter taste
I love the strong green color of matcha the most.
