I am a pageant lover. Beauty pageants are not just shows for me, they are powerful platforms that celebrate confidence, intelligence, culture, and purpose. I truly admire the world’s Major Six pageants such as Miss Universe, Miss World, Miss International, Miss Earth, Miss Supranational and Miss Grand International. These competitions inspire millions of people around the world.

For me, pageants are not only about outer beauty. They represent inner strength, leadership, kindness, and social responsibility. I am especially inspired by how contestants speak confidently on global issues and represent their countries with pride. When I watch the final question-and-answer rounds, I feel motivated by their intelligence and courage.

Biggest Mistake in the Pageant History
Miss Universe 2015 host Steve Harvey wrongfully declared Miss Colombia the winner when she was the first runner-up. Pia Alonzo Wurzbach, the contestant from the Philippines, had won. A contrite Harvey was forced to fix his mistake.

I also love the glamour and creativity in pageants — the elegant evening gowns, the colorful national costumes, and the sparkling crowns. Every detail shows art, culture, and fashion from different parts of the world. It makes me appreciate diversity and global unity.

My favorite segment is Evening Gown Round & Final Question Round. Philippine is a Powerhouse of Pageant Industry.

Being a pageant lover has shaped my dreams. I admire the confidence of queens and the hard work behind the scenes — from designers to makeup artists and coaches. Pageants teach me that success comes with dedication, discipline, and self-belief.

Being a pageant lover is a part of who I am. Pageants inspire me to be confident, compassionate, and ambitious. They remind me that true beauty shines from within and that dreams can come true with passion and hard work.

I love very much for Philippine pageant industry. They choose real winners for international platform to represent their country. Sri Lanka is in a very weak position in that regard.
